Biscayne Bay Sunset Cruise
South Florida has more than its share of beautiful sunsets and what better place
to enjoy this than on the water! The charter departs from Sea Isle Marina
passing through the Venetian Causeway bascule bridge and cruises into Biscayne
Bay from the North. Our cruise will take us alongside the American Airlines
Arena and the skyscrapers of Downtown Miami and Brickell Avenue
until we reach the open bay waters where you can appreciate the full view of the
gorgeous Miami skyline ,
as well as Key Biscayne and Coconut Grove. We can cruise to Vizcaya
through a channel that can take us almost to the mansion's front door. This magnificent mansion, Miami's first, was built nearly 100 years ago when the
area was still young. Its original owner was James Deering, the founder of
International Harvester. Seeing this century-old house from the water is
impressive, and a view most visitors never get. After watching the sunset from
the open bay waters
where it can be enjoyed at its best, we return to the marina with the beautiful
Miami night lights accompanying us along the way.

Biscayne Bay and Key Biscayne Cruise
There is so much to see and do within the confines of Biscayne Bay that you can
have an outstanding trip and never leave the bay. Biscayne Bay (Bahia Vizcaina,
in Spanish) is a lagoon approximately 35 miles long and up to 8 miles wide, and
thanks to the barrier islands that offer considerable protection, the bay is
usually affords ideal sailing conditions no matter how rough waters can be off
shore.
The charter departs from Sea Isle Marina passing the bascule bridge of Venetian
Causeway and cruises into Biscayne Bay from the North. Our cruise will take us
alongside the Miami Arena and the skyscrapers of Downtown Miami and Brickell
Avenue until we reach the open bay waters.
Along the way we will pass off Key Biscayne where we can stop to swim on the
sand bank.
Next we will pass through Stiltsville famous wooden homes on stilts located on
both sides of the Stiltsville Channel.
These remaining houses are a favorite of visitors and locals alike. After
navigating between the flats and pass the famous Key Biscayne lighthouse
we head towards the historical site of Fowey Rocks Coral Reef and the Fowey
Rocks Lighthouse located 4 miles offshore of Key Biscayne.
This historical lighthouse dates back more than a century and is surrounded by
pristine waters home to beautiful coral formations, sea fans and a colorful
variety of marine life, where it is beautiful to take the time to experience
snorkeling in the crystal clear waters.
The Florida Keys
Located south of Miami, it is a special place made up of more than 40 islands
linked to the mainland by one road called the Overseas Highway. Key Largo is the
most popular destination for private charters embarking in Miami. People are
drawn to the unique atmosphere of the Keys, the lure of world-famous sunsets,
tropical beaches and spectacular snorkeling and scuba diving sites. Ernest
Hemingway felt this and made his home in Key West for many years, and Jimmy
Buffet immortalized this paradise with his songs. Visitors to the Keys will
immediately enjoy the Caribbean feel of the islands, bathed in the warmth of a
tropical sun and tempered ocean breezes. The Keys are truly a romantic
destination, rich in history, culture and natural treasures. From Elliot key to
Key West is a chain of spectacular reefs that extend of over 120 miles.
To visit Key Largo we recommend a minimum of 3 days and 3
nights, departing from Miami beach at 9 am, sailing along the coast
through Hank channel and stopping for a snorkeling adventure at Pelican Reef off
of Elliot key. At the end of the first day a safe anchorage in Key Largo is
selected and there will be the opportunity to visit town.
Enjoy the second day as you please; Key Largo has many of the best snorkel and
diving sites in the continental USA: Molasses reef (the world's most popular
dive site), French reef, the Christ of the Deep, and many others, as well as the
famous dive wrecks Duane, Bib, and Spiegel Grove.
The third day is spent sailing back to Miami at a leisurely pace, with the
option of stopping to swim and snorkel on the way. At the end of the day have
dinner on board at a safe anchorage with beautiful Miami skyline as background.
Return to Miami Beach at 9 am on the next day.

The Bahamas
The
Bahamas consist of three different island chains each offering a variation of
crystal clear water, world -class fishing and diving. To the north lie the
Abacos islands rich with visual and cultural flavor of British colonial life.
The middle Bahamas and the Berry Islands are full of activity including casinos,
nightclubs and restaurants. And the lower Bahamas remain idyllic with little
change from the times of the Arawak Indians. Know as the Exumas, these islands
offer the setting for total relaxation with distinct personalities and natural
wonders.
Charming
and quaint, the Abacos boast the famous candy-striped lighthouse and incredible
sailing; they remain a favorite destination for yachtsmen with one of the best
beaches in the world, Treasure Cay Beach. The Abacos might be the most developed
of the Out Islands, but they still hold the same laid-back charm and ambience
that runs like a common thread through all the Out Islands. But it’s the
crystal-clear aquamarine waters surrounding Abaco that are the secret of Abaco’s
tourism success. The main islands are Great Abaco and Little Abaco, and it’s
on the former where you find the capital, Marsh Harbour. Surrounding the main
islands are beautiful islets including Spanish Cay, Man-O-War Cay, Great Guana
and Green Turtle Cay. Undoubtedly, Hope Town’s most famous attraction has to
be its 120 foot high candy-striped lighthouse, as well as the most charming harbour,
and Treasure Cay Beach, voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The
best way to travel the Bahamas is by boat, and aboard Fantasia you will have the
opportunity to visit and experience this wonderful islands with the safety and comfort
you deserve.

To visit the Abacos we recommend a minimum of 7 to 10 days,
departing from Miami Beach at 9 am, sailing across the Gulf Stream to
stop in Bimini Islands some 45 miles from Miami. Bimini is the closest of the
Bahamas islands, but once there you will feel like you already arrived in
paradise! One more day of smooth sailing in 10-15 feet of the Bahamas Bank's
crystalline waters is required to reach the Berry Islands. Finally, from the
Berry Islands all it takes is one more day of leisurely paced sailing to reach
the Abacos, home to an endless series of islands and islets to enjoy. Skysail
Charters also offers the option of boarding the yacht directly in the Abacos
should you have a more limited time for your cruise.
In
the south of the Archipelago, the Exuma Islands are a string of islands and cays
that form a pearl necklace of long forgotten hideaways, natural harbors and
secluded beaches that span over a hundred miles of clear blue water. Depart from
Nassau Paradise Island immediately for the Allan’s Cay group - home to
friendly iguanas. Anchor off Highborne Cay for the night and enjoy the area’s
pretty beaches. Next you have many Cays to visit, including Staniel Cay, with its
attractive village and marinas and friendly people, Black Point, Rudder Cut Cay,
and many more. On the west side of the chain of islands there are countless
protected coves with beautiful anchorages on crystal clear waters ideal for
snorkeling. To visit the Exumas we recommend a minimum of 9-10 days.
Again, Skysail Charters offers the option of boarding the yacht to
the Exumas directly in Nassau should you have a more limited time for your
cruise.
